2017
Wow, this year has been a whirlwind of new adventures. First off, January First I documented Neola & Joel’s wedding which was the absolute perfect way to begin their new life and new year as a married couple. Earlier last year I was able to meet a new couple who are enjoying a long engagement and who are the sweetest to each other. Nicole crafted Kevin’s engagement ring and proposed on Christmas. To add to the endearing moments of the first half of the year I had the immense honor of documenting a family’s adoption celebration; this was such a heartwarming party for all of their friends and family. Everybody was so excited for their two new boys and anytime I think of it, I think of how special that day was.
Mid 2017 was exciting and wonderful because I coordinated Autumn Vermont Wedding Inspiration which was so rewarding and I’m still so thankful for everybody who participated in it–this Wedding Inspiration remains one of the highlights for me. Later this summer brought two weddings. Leslie & Lesley said “I do” on August 20th, a very special date for them. Who knows what (or who) 2018 may bring into their new life together. Following that, Jacki & Rob were married among the closest of friends & family.
The last wedding of 2017 was an incredibly unique one with Kellen & Will who were married at their alma matter in a very intimate Boston College Wedding. Kellen & Will’s wedding included lovely music, old memories, and a new beginning.
On a more personal note, throughout this year I’ve also been fortunate enough to travel to new places like Chicago & Ireland. Two very different places, but both hold a special place in my heart. I’ve always loved to travel and it’s been a joy to see the world and collect experiences that Boston or Vermont can’t offer.
2018
“Projects”
2018 is the year for Projects. This year has already started at full speed for the behind the scenes of MBP and I think 2018 will be a fantastic year. Loads of adventures and projects are underway and some have already been released including my new Society6 Storefront & Pinterest Account. I currently have a very near and dear Personal Project that is giving me bountiful amounts of optimism and excitement for the year ahead. And I also have a Personal Adventure that awaits me which keeps propelling me forward in my optimism.
I hope 2018 will be grand for every one of you reading this (also hi, thanks for reading).
Special shout out to the pugs Bubsy & Gypsy for always being my moral support and for never failing to sneeze in my face when I need it the most.
Enjoy the highlights that 2017 brought me & the wonderful people I’ve been able to meet and/or reconnect with ~
