Stephanie celebrated her birthday on November fifteenth and two days later, she married her love. Tad and Stephanie are an adventurous couple; they love to sail together as their main activity together. In the planning process they went through many, many options for their wedding. From entertaining the possibility of planning a gigantic elaborate wedding to eloping in Africa (where Stephanie had worked and lived), they found their perfect venue as a happy surprise.
On a stroll through Boston one day, Tad & Stephanie found The Boston Athenaeum. They entered the gorgeous library and instantly knew this would be the place they would get married. Their day was beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated. Tad planned a stunning day full of small touches that made their wedding so personal. From having Cricket their pup attend the ceremony, to a custom Crawford logo drawn from The Boston Athenaeum’s real logo, to a collection of port to accompany the well-crafted desserts, everything came together wonderfully. They had Jeremy Green perform on the viola as well as Alex, Stephanie’s sister, perform a song after her speech. Throughout the day, it was evident how significant each individual person was to help celebrate the Crawford’s love; every person received the biggest hug and smile from the bride and groom. It was undeniable how grateful they were for their guests attending.
Tad & Stephanie had an incredibly fun first dance; they began with a traditional lovely slow dance just the two of them and ended with a mini flash mob comprised of their wedding party. Tad & Stephanie danced to May I Have This Dance by Francis and the Lights feat. Chance the Rapper alongside Stephanie’s sister, her cousin, and Tad’s two brothers. All their guests roared with excitement and it was the perfect beginning to their reception full of dancing.
Do you know how Tad proposed? Read Stephanie & Tad’s Engagement blogpost now to get their full love story.
Thank you to the creatives who helped Mr. & Mrs. Crawford sail away!
