An iconic Chicago photography location, the Lincoln Park Conservatory is located within Lincoln Park and the Lincoln Park neighborhood. It is open to the public with free reservations and is incredibly easy to obtain a photography permit. It’s $85 (includes permit fee and application fee) and grants you access to the entire botanic garden for one hour. It’s the perfect winter and all-season location because come rain, shine, or blistering cold winds, you’ll enjoy the humid, balmy environment. Plus, everyone who works there is incredibly kind! A little note: this is also the same for the larger Garfield Park Conservatory. The Garfield Park Conservatory is the more popular one primarily for its size, but the Lincoln Park Conservatory is a beautiful showcase of greenery and flowers. Plus, it’s a more centralized location so it makes it easier to visit if you live more directly within the city.
Meeting the modern way of dating, that is a dating app, Mia & Jack have gone on many adventures in their (relatively) short time of knowing one another. With trips across the country to places like Florida and Minnesota, they’re always each other’s best travel buddy. When not on a plane or in a car, the pair love to cook together and enjoy watching movies on a more casual date night. They have an upcoming trip planned to Peru which is incredibly exciting as it will be their first international trip together! Not only will they witness beautiful vistas and cultural elements, but they will also be witnesses to the beginning of their friend’s marriage.
Though unfortunately not invited to the couple’s portrait session, Mia & Jack’s four-legged family are near and dear to their hearts. Remy, the tiny Pomsky (Pomeranian & husky mixed breed) happily stayed home where it was nice and warm. He loves his dad and loved to dress up with both Jack & Mia for halloween! Marshmallow, the all white rescue cat, kind of accidentally became Mia’s cat through the tried and true cat distribution system. He used to be an outdoor barn cat but ever since living with Mia he’s happily stayed inside. Safe to say he is thriving as a Chicago apartment cat.
