About three years ago, Jinyan (he/him) & Steven (he/him) met and Jin was the one to make the first move. They had a great first date which led to them immediately want a second (and third, and fourth, and infinite amount of dates).
They knew they wanted to get married in 2022 and so with the advice of two of their couple friends who got married last year, they started planning their wedding even before they were officially engaged. Fast forward to January of this year, Jin and Steven took a trip to San Francisco. Jin used to live there and so he was able to show Steven all the sights including a gorgeous beach joint proposal. They went to the Chinatown in Oakland and bought each other jade pendants of their Chinese zodiac signs. Jin is a sheep and Steven is a monkey and his pendant is of a monkey holding a peach. With the beautiful Golden Gate bridge in the background, serene waves coming in and out with the tide, warm sun and bright blue skies, Jin and Steven proposed to one another and were officially an engaged couple.
When not traveling the world together their ideal date night requirements really boil down to one thing: loads and loads of good food. Master home chefs and lovers of restaurants, Jin and Steven are really passionate about enjoying food together.
October can’t come soon enough, these two have an incredible day planned!
